Each earring face measures just over approximately 1 and 1/2 inches or about 38.5 millimeters, high, by just over about 3/4 of an inch, or approximately 19.5 millimeters, wide at the top and just over about 1 and 1/8 inches, or approximately 29 millimeters, wide at the the bottom, and just over roughly 3/8 of an inch, or about 10 millimeters, deep, not including the fasteners. (Included you'll see a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The back of each earring is stamped, "950", "Mexico", and signed, "TS-61". The stamps are partial, so it may be TS-60. Also signed with a partial name which appears to read, "Ori" or "Ohi" at the front and seems to end in, "idia". Combined weight is approximately 22.32 grams.
These are older earrings, which have been worn and enjoyed. They will have the expected light surface scratches and possibly a few tiny dings to the silver. The clips move easily and close and hold securely over the posts. One post has a very mild bend, the other seems straight. Hand polished, but there may be further tarnish to remove, especially on the backs.
A very beautiful and impressively sized, though curvy and feminine pair of handmade and signed vintage Taxco, Mexican 950 Sterling silver repousse modern earrings, with applied golden caviar beading. Big, bold and very striking, with a strong profile and dimensionality and loaded with unique style.
