The star pendant measures just under approximately 3/8 of an inch, or about 9 millimeters, high and wide. (Included you will see a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The necklace measures about 18 and 3/8 inches long, from end to end, and will fit at approximately 18 and 1/4 inches in length, closed. The chain is approximately 1.585 millimeters, or about 1/16 of an inch, wide. Stamped, "925", on the spring ring clasp, stamped, "925", again on the back of the pendant, and signed, "FAS". Weight is approximately 2.3 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.
This necklace is in good vintage condition. No missing stones, though a few facets have tiny chips, visible under a 10X loupe. The chain has no kinks or bends, and the clasp works well and holds securely. There may be some wear to the gold vermeil, though definitely none visible to the naked eye. Hand polished, but it may have missed tarnish.
A pretty, delicate and sparkly, signed vintage Gold on Sterling silver star necklace. Much lovelier in person. The camera did not do it justice.
