Gorgeous, Highly Detailed, Handcrafted Vintage or Antique Filigree 800 Silver with Yelllow Gold Vermeil Carved Shell Lady Cameo Pendant.
The piece measures approximately 1 and 5/8 inches high, bale included, by just under about 1 inch, or about 25 millimeters, wide, and just under approximately 1/4 of an inch, or about 6 millimeters, deep. The bale opening measures just under approximately 1/8 of an inch, or about 3 millimeters, wide. (Included you'll find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Stamped, "800" , on the the back, along with a Star and "GE" for gold elctroplate. Weight is approximately 4.39 grams, which includes the shell weight, of course.
This old pendant is in pretty good vintage condition. It will have the expected surface scratches and dings to the silver from age and normal wear. There is some wear to the vermeil. No visibledamage to the cameo. Hand polished, but it may need further attention, especially within the filigree detail.
A very beautiful, feminine and fancy, vintage yellow gold vermeil over 800 silver filigree framed lady cameo pendant. So much handcrafted detail, well carved and pretty face on the cameo. A real standout.
