Gorgeous, Intricately Detailed, Handcrafted and Signed Vintage Willi Nonnenmann Sterling Silver Dimensional Feathers and Ribbon Fine German Filigree Brooch.
The brooch measures approximately 1 and 3/4 inches high, by about 1 and 3/16 inches high, and roughly 1/4 of an inch, or about 6.35 millimeters, deep, not including the pinback. (Included you will see a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The brooch is stamped on an attached lozenge on the back, "Sterling Germany" and signed with the outlined, "NW" mark of Willi Nonnenmann. Weight is approximately 4.5 grams.
This brooch is in excellent vintage condition, but will have the expected surface scratches, and possibly a few tiny dings to the silver from age and normal wear. No bends or creases visible, nor broken filigree. Hand polished, but there could be more tarnish remaining, especially in the crevices. The locking pinback works as intended, and the pin is still straight and sharp.
