Lovely, Dimensional and Curvy, Signed Vintage Stuart Nye Sterling Silver Calla Lily Pin or Brooch.
The brooch measures approximately 1 and 9/16 inches wide, by approximately 15/16 of an inch, or about 23.8125 millimeters, wide, and just under roughly 3/8 of an inch, or about 9.5 millimeters, deep, not including the pinback. (Included is a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Standard locking pinback. Stamped, "Sterling", along with the NYE in shamrock maker's mark, on the back.
This brooch is in good vintage condition, though it will have the expected light surface scratches and possibly a few tiny dings from normal wear. Hand polished, but it was completely blackened when begun, and there is some tarnish remaining. There also may be some old silver polish left deep inside the flower that despite much effort, wouldn't completely come away which may be what's giving the pinkish glow in the photos. The standard locking pin back works as designed, and the pin is still sharp and straight.
