    Beautiful, Ornately Carved, Signed Vintage Sterling Silver Prayer, Pill, Poison, or Wish Box Locket/Pendant. The pendant is decorated on every surface in a Christian Cross and Ichthus Motif, with Scrollwork and Leafy accents. It opens on hinges and latches closed to securely hold your desired contents.
   The pendant measures just under approximately 7/8 of an inch, or about 22 millimeters, high, including the bale, by about 9/16 of an inch, or about 14.2875 millimeters, front to back, and about 3/8 of an inch, or approximately 9.52 millimeters, wide. The bale opening is just under about 3/16 of an inch, or around 4.75 millimeters, wide. (Included you will see a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The pendant is stamped, "925", on the bottom, and signed, "HS". Weight is approximately 4.35 grams.

   This pendant is in very good vintage condition, but will have the expected light surface scratches and possibly a few tiny dings to the silver, from normal wear. The hinge works well and the clasp holds very securely. Hand polished, but there will likely be more tarnish remaining, aside from the desirable patina intentionally avoided. P

   A very beautiful, highly detailed, signed vintage Sterling silver Christian-themed prayer box locket pendant. Wonderful attention to the carvings on every side. Much lovelier in person than the camera captured.
