The pendant portion measures approximately 3/4 of an inch wide at the top, and about 5/8 of an inch wide at the bottom, and approximately 1 and 1/8 inches high, by just over about 1/4 of an inch deep. The necklace measures about 19 and 5/8 inches long, from end to end, and will fit (closed) at about 19 and 1/2 inches in length. The chain is approximately 2 millimeters, or just over about 1/16 of an inch, wide. (Included you'll see a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Stamped, "925", on the spring ring clasp, stamped, "925" again, and signed, "NV", on an inline lozenge and on the back of the pendant. Weight is approximately 4 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.
This necklace is in excellent vintage condition, but will likely have the expected light surface scratches from normal wear. The chain has no kinks or bends, and the clasp works well and holds securely. No visible damage to the stone. Hand polished, but it may have missed tarnish.
A very pretty, unusual, vintage signed Sterling silver and Lapis lazuli filigree necklace. Very delicate and lovely. This style of necklace is so easy to wear, as the clasp never works its way around to the front.
