Lovely, Detailed, Handcrafted Vintage Southwest Sterling Silver and Blue Turquoise Inlaid Roadrunner Pin or Brooch.

   From the tip of the beak to the tip of the tail, the piece measures just over approximately 1 and 7/16 inches wide, by approximately 9/16 of an inch, or about 14.2875 millimeters, high, and just over roughly 1/16 of an inch, or about 2 millimeters, thick, not including the pinback. (Included is a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Standard locking pinback. Not marked as to content, nor signed, but discreetly acid tested as Sterling silver. Weight is approximately 4 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.

   This brooch is in very nice vintage condition, though  it will have the expected light surface scratches and possibly some tiny dings to the silver from age and normal wear. No visible damage to the turquoise inlay. Hand polished, but there is likely missed tarnish. The locking pin back works well, and the pin is straight and sharp. This is a handcrafted piece which will not be machine-perfect in any way.
