Beautiful, Wide but Curvy and Detailed, Handcrafted Vintage Southwestern Sterling Silver with Mosaic Blue Turquoise and Red Coral Inlay Butterfly Ring.
The ring is approximately a size 5.5. The face of the ring measures just over approximately 5/8 of an inch or about 16 millimeters, high, by just over approximately 3/4 of an inch, or about 19.5 millimeters, wide. The band is nice and wide in front and gradually narrows to just over about 1/8 of an inch, or around 3.5 millimeters, wide, at the narrowest point in the back. (Included you will see a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Not marked as to content nor signed, but acid tested as solid Sterling silver. Weight is approximately 5.05 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.
This is a vintage piece, which has been worn and enjoyed. There will be the expected surface scratches and probably a few dings in the silver from normal wear. This is a handcrafted ring, and will not be machine-perfect in any way. The band is no longer perfectly round, but very close. There is no damage to the inlay, other than surface wear. Hand polished repeatedly, but there will still be areas of missed tarnish, as it was completely black when begun.
