Beautiful, Curvy and Delicately Handcrafted Vintage Southwestern Sterling Silver and Sawtooth Set Blue Turquoise Butterfly Ring.
The ring is approximately a size 6. The face of the ring measures approximately 7/16 of an inch or about 11.1125 millimeters, high. The stone setting measures approximately 3/16 of an inch wide and about 5/16 of an inch high, or approximately 4.76 by 7.94 millimeters. The band narrows to just over about 1/16 of an inch, or around 2 millimeters, wide, in the back. (Included is a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Stamped, "Sterling", inside the band, unsigned. Weight is approximately 1.78 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.
This is a vintage piece, which has been worn and enjoyed. There will be the expected surface scratches and probably a few tiny dings in the silver from normal wear. This is a handcrafted ring, and will not be machine-perfect in any way. The band is no longer perfectly round, but is very wearable. There is no damage to the stone, other than surface scratches. Hand polished, but there will still be areas of missed tarnish, especially in the crevices.
