Beautiful, Dainty, Vintage Solid 14K Yellow Gold and Hand Carved Shell Cameo Dangle Pierced Earrings.
Each earring face measures approximately 11/16 of an inch, or about 17.4625 millimeters, high, by about 3/16 of an inch wide at the floral top, and just over approximately 1/4 of an inch or about 6.5 millimeters, wide at the cameo portions, and just over about 1/16 of an inch deep. (Included please find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Each clutch is stamped, "14K", and signed with what appears to be an, "MRM", maker's mark. Also acid tested as 14K solid gold. Combined weight is approximately 1.1 grams, which includes the shell weight, of course.
These are vintage earrings, which have been worn and enjoyed. They will have the expected light surface scratches and possibly tiny dings to the gold from normal wear. One post appears to be pretty straight, one has a slight bend which should not affect wear. I saw no damage to the cameos. Lightly cleaned by hand, but they have not been professionally polished. The cameos are hand carved, and will not identical nor machine-perfect in any sense.
