The ring is approximately a size 8. The central face of the ring measures just under approximately 1/4 of an inch, or about 6.25 millimeters, high. The decorated portion measures approximately 13/16 of an inch, or about 20.6375 millimeters, wide. The band narrows in the back to approximately 1/8 of an inch, or about 3.17 millimeters wide. (Included you will see a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) It is marked inside, "925.", and signed, "NF". Weight is approximately 1.94 grams.
This is a vintage piece, which has been worn and enjoyed. It does have all of the expected surface scratches, dings, and patina from normal wear. The ring is still pretty much round and true, perhaps a bit flattened in back. Hand polished twice, but there will still be areas of missed tarnish, especially inside the band as it was very blackened to begin with.
A very pretty, feminine but modern and stylish, vintage Sterling silver open work hearts band ring. The matte finish softens the look and gives the silver a rich glow.
