The chain measures about 16 and 1/16 inches long, from end to end, and should fit at roughly 16 inches long, closed. The chain is approximately 1.585 millimeters, or about 1/16 of an inch, wide. Stamped on an inline lozenge, "925", and, "Italy", and signed, "QGI". Stamped again on the spring ring clasp, "925".
The pendant measures just over approximately 5/8 of an inch, or about 16 millimeters, high, bale included, by about 9/16 of an inch, or approximately 14.2875 millimeters, wide, and roughly 3/16 of an inch thick. The bale opening measures approximately 1/8 of an inch, or about 3.17 millimeters, wide. (Included there is a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) It is stamped, "925", on the top of the bale, and signed with a script maker's name that can't quite be read. It may be, "Lark", or perhaps, Rick".
Combined weight is approximately 3.4 grams.
This necklace is in very good vintage condition. The chain has no kinks, and the spring ring clasp works well and holds securely. There will be the expected light surface scratches and tiny dings to the silver from normal wear. Hand polished, but it may still have some tarnish.
A very pretty, petite and feminine, signed vintage Italian Sterling silver etched heart pendant necklace. Great detail in a versatile and flattering size.
