    Beautiful, Whimsical and Romantic, Vintage Sterling Silver and Silvery-White Pearl Heart Brooch, with Applied Dot Details and a Carved Blaise Pascal quote, "the heart has it's reasons which reason cannot know".

   The brooch measures approximately  1 and 5/8 inches, or about 41.27 millimeters, high, by just over about 1 and 9/16 inches wide, and just over roughly 1/8 of an inch, or about 3.5 millimeters, deep, not including the pinback. The pearl measures just under about 1/4 of an inch, or approximately 6.25 millimeters. (Included is a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The brooch is stamped, "The Dreamer", and "Sterling", on the back, and signed, "Pascal". Weight is approximately 11.69 grams, which includes the pearl weight, of course

  This brooch is in very good vintage condition, but will have the expected light surface scratches and a few tiny dings, from normal wear. The pearl appears undamaged. Hand polished this, but there is a bit of tarnish remaining, especially near the pearl where extreme caution was necessary. The standard locking  pinback secures as intended, and the pin is still straight and sharp. 

   A very sweet, large and lovely, unique and fun, vintage Sterling silver and pearl heart brooch. Sentimental by nature, but with a modern style and lots of detail to carry it's message of love.
