Small, Unusual, Detailed Vintage New Old Stock Sterling Silver Carved Southwestern Buffalo with Tribal Designs Pierced Earrings.
Each earring face measures approximately 5/8 of an inch, or about 15.87 millimeters, high, by just over about 3/8 of an inch, or approximately 10 millimeters, wide, and just over roughly 1/16 of an inch, or about 2 millimeters, thick. (Included you'll see a US Dime in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The clutch of each earring is stamped, "925", unsigned. Combined weight is approximately 2.3 grams.
These are new old stock earrings, never sold or worn, but vintage in from the 1980's. There may be light surface scratches to the silver from years of storage, though they have never been out of their original plastic packaging bags. Hand polished, but there may still be areas of missed tarnish, especially on the backs and posts.
A very different, nicely crafted, pair of vintage Southwest Sterling silver tribal stud earrings. Strong design and great contrast in a comfortable size.
