The central face of the bracelet, from ring to ring, measures about 1 and 3/8 inches, or approximately 34.92 millimeters, wide, by just under approximately 5/8 of an inch, or about 15.85 millimeters, high, and just under about 5/16 of an inch, or approximately 6.5 millimeters, deep. The band portion of the bangle measures just over about 1/8 of an inch, or approximately 3.5 millimeters, wide.
The closed bracelet measures approximately 6 and 1/2 inches in interior circumference or, if you prefer, interior depth is about 1 and 13/16 inches, interior width is just over approximately 2 and 3/8 inches. The gap provided when the bracelet is opened is about 11/16 of an inch wide. -I think the band may be too thick to bend for a better fit, so please double check your wrist for fit. (Included you will find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Weight is approximately 18.58 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course. Stamped on the back of the central face, "925 Mexico", unsigned.
This bangle is in very good vintage condition. It will have the expected surface scratches and tiny dings to the silver from normal wear. No visible chips or cracks in the stone, just a few very tiny rough facet edges, visible under a 10X loupe. The hinge and catch work as intended and hold securely. The thick band is still in it's original shape. Hand polished, but it may need further attention, as it was quite soiled and tarnished to begin. This is a handcrafted item which will not be perfectly symmetrical nor machine-perfect in any other sense.
A very pretty, eye-catching and unusual vintage Mexican artisan Sterling silver and lavender set bangle bracelet. Very easy to wear, with great color and sparkle. Sleek and modern styling with a feminine feel. A very nice piece.
