Beautiful, Detailed, Heavily Crafted, Signed Vintage Sterling Silver Dimensional Dogwood Flower and Buds Pin or Brooch.
The brooch measures just under approximately 1 and 1/2 inches wide, by just under about 1 and 3/8 inches high, and approximately 1/4 of an inch deep, not including the pinback. (Included you will see a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Standard locking pinback. Stamped on the back, "Sterling", and signed, either, "Mc", or, "Nc". Weight is approximately 15.6 grams.
This brooch is in very good vintage condition. It will have all of the expected light surface scratches and possibly tiny dings to the silver from age and normal wear. Hand polished, but it may need further attention if you wish it to be entirely clean, as the brooch was completely black, to start. The locking pin back works fine, and the pin is sharp and straight.
A very beautiful, nicely crafted vintage Sterling silver dogwood brooch. Feminine and flowing, with lovely attention to detail and a nice weight.
