Beautiful, Handcrafted and Signed, Vintage Navajo Stamped Sterling Silver and Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Cuff Bracelet, with Southwest Bead Details.
The bracelet measures just over approximately 1/2 of an inch, or about 13 millimeters high. The turquoise settings measure approximately 1 and 5/8 inches wide. The inside circumference, as shown, is about 6 and 3/4 inches, including the current 1 and 3/16 inch gap, but can be gently bent to fit your wrist. If you prefer, inside width is about 2 and 7/16 inches, by approximately 2 inches front to back. (Included please find a US Quarter in the photographs, for measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The bracelet is stamped, "Sterling", inside, and signed, "JN". This mark identified variously as that of Jerry Nelson, Jerry and Wilma Begay, and Jonathan Nez, but can't confirm any of those as the correct artists. Weight is approximately 23 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.
This bracelet is in very good vintage condition, but will exhibit the expected light surface scratches and a few tiny dings to the silver from normal wear. No chips or cracks visible to the turquoise. The bracelet is still pretty round, but slightly out of shape, but not bent or creased. Hand polished, but may have some missed tarnish here and there, especially in the crevices and interior, due to attempting to maintain the patina while cleaning the excess tarnish away.
