Lovely, Signed, Vintage Jacmel Solid 14K Yellow Gold Scalloped or Fluted Hinged Hoop Pierced Earrings.
Each earring measures just over approximately 1/16 of an inch, or roughly 2 millimeters, wide, by about 11/16 of an inch, or approximately 17.4625 millimeters high, and just under approximately 5/8 of an inch, or about 15.75 millimeters, front to back. (Included please find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Stamped on the bottom of both post arms, "14K", and signed, either, "JCM". Also acid tested as solid 14K gold. Combined weight is approximately 1 gram.
These are vintage earrings, which have been worn and enjoyed. They will have the expected light surface scratches to the gold from normal wear. The posts are straight, and the hinges and catches work well, and hold securely. Lightly cleaned by hand, but they have not been professionally polished.
A beautiful, sparkly pair of signed vintage 14K yellow gold hinged hoop earrings. Nicely made, and a lovely take on a classic style.
