The pendant measures just under approximately 1 and 1/8 inches, or about 28.5 millimeters, high, bale included, by just over about 5/8 of an inch, or approximately 16 millimeters, wide, and just over about 3/16 of an inch, or roughly 5 millimeters, thick. The bale opening is just under about 1/8 of an inch, or 3 millimeters, wide. (Included please find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The pendant is stamped, "417" (The European mark for 10K) and, "Italy", on the rear of the bale, unsigned. Weight is approximately 1.1 grams.
This pendant is in excellent condition, though it may have the expected light surface scratches and possibly a few very tiny dings to the gold from normal wear. No dings, dents, or creases. Lightly cleaned by hand, but it has not been professionally polished. There is a very discreet acid test mark on the bottom edge of the pendant.
A very lovely, nicely designed and crafted vintage Italian 10K gold porpoise or dolphin pendant. Well detailed and proportionate. Curving into a leap in a lifelike and graceful fashion, this dolphin is a charmer.
