Each earring measures just over approximately 1 and 3/8 inches high, by about 3/16 of an inch wide at the top, just under approximately 1/4 of an inch or about 6 millimeters, wide at the spiral. (I have included a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Each clutch is stamped, "925", and signed, "RGB". The inside of each earring is hand signed, "I Edaakie", and, "Zuni". Photographing the marks is extremely challenging, so the camera couldn't capture much of the signature. Combined weight is approximately 1.9 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.
These are vintage earrings, which have been worn and enjoyed. They will have the expected light surface scratches and possibly tiny dings to the silver from normal wear. Both posts appear to be pretty straight, though one has a bend at the very tip. No visible damage to the inlay. Hand polished, but they likely need more attention, especially inside the spirals.
A fantastic, beautifully detailed, handcrafted and signed pair of vintage Native American Sterling silver, blue turquoise, black onyx, and spiny oyster Zuni inlay spiral earring, by Idetta Edaakie. Stunning detail and color, great movement. Outstanding earrings.
