Very Special, Highly Detailed and Finely Crafted Vintage or Antique Sterling Silver Carved Long-Tailed Bird Pin Pendant.
Measurements given represent the piece when worn as a pendant, and will differ slightly when the pin is used as the straight and level center point. The bird measures approximately 1 and 9/16 inches high, by about 1 inch, or 25.4 millimeters, wide, and just over approximately 1/8 of an inch, or about 3.5 millimeters, deep, not including the pinback. (Included is a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Stamped on the back, "St. Sil", unsigned. Weight is approximately 2.69 grams.
This older pin/pendant is in very good vintage condition. It may have the expected light scratches and possibly a few tiny dings to the silver from age and normal wear. Hand polished, but it may need further attention, especially to the back. The locking pin back works as designed, and the pin is straight and sharp.
