Beautiful, Classy and Stylish, Signed Vintage Carla 14K Solid Yellow Gold & Black Onyx Dimensional Swirl or Twist Stud Pierced Earrings.
Each earring face measures just over approximately 3/8 of an inch, or about 10 millimeters, in diameter, by about 1/4 of an inch, or about 6.35 millimeters, deep. each onyx sphere measures just over approximately 3/16 of an inch, or about 5 millimeters, in diameter. (Included you will see a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Both earring posts are stamped, "14K", and signed, "Carla" The clutch of one earring is stamped, "14K", unsigned. The other clutch is stamped, "14K", and signed, "Carla". Earrings also discreetly acid tested and confirmed to be solid 14K gold. Combined weight is approximately 1.9 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.
These are vintage earrings, which have been worn and enjoyed. They will have the expected light surface scratches and possibly a couple of very tiny dings to the gold. The posts both seem pretty straight, maybe not perfectly so. The clutches hold securely, though they are mismatched. Lightly cleaned by hand, but they have not been professionally polished.
A very lovely and versatile, pair of signed vintage 14K gold and black onyx earrings. Very comfortable size and shape. Understated, classic styling with chic curves, rich luster, and strong contrast.
