Beautiful, Highly Detailed, Signed Vintage Beau Filigree Frame Sterling Silver Hand Carved Shell Lady Cameo Brooch.

   The piece measures just over approximately 1 and 1/4 inches, or about 32 millimeters, by just under approximately 1 inch, or about 25 millimeters, wide,  and is just over roughly 5/16 of an inch, or approximately 7.9 millimeters, deep, not including the pinback. (Included you will find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Standard locking rollover pinback. A lozenge on the back is stamped, "Ster", and signed, "Beau". Weight is approximately 6 grams, which includes the shell weight, of course.

   This brooch is in very nice vintage condition. It will have the expected surface scratches and a few tiny dings to the silver from normal wear. Hand polished, but it may need further attention, as it was very tarnished to start. The locking pin back works and holds securely and the pin is still straight and sharp. No visible chips or cracks in the cameo portion.

   A very lovely vintage Beau Sterling silver carved shell cameo brooch. Curvy filigree surround on the tiered frame, charming detailed carving in a sweet, pretty face.  Much nicer in person than in the photos.
