Gorgeous, Nicely Crafted, Sparkly, Vintage Italian Hallmarked 18K Solid Rose Gold Fancy Twisting Link Chain Necklace. The photos don't show the color as rosy or pink as the chain looks in person, but is very definitely rose gold.
The necklace measures about 21 and 5/8 inches long, from end to end, and will fit at approximately 21 and 1/2 inches in length (closed). The chain measures just over about 1/16 of an inch, or approximately 2 millimeters, wide when pulled tightly flat, and as it naturally lays twisted, it measures just under approximately 1/8 of an inch, or about 2.5 millimeters, wide. (Included please find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The necklace is stamped, "750 * 288 AR", along with the Italian 18K mark of 750 inside a diamond, and hallmarked as well on an inline lozenge, stamped, "750", again on the spring ring clasp. Weight is approximately 3.83 grams.
This necklace is in excellent vintage condition, but may have the expected light surface scratches from normal wear. I saw no kinks or bends. The spring ring clasp is in good working condition, and holds securely. Lightly cleaned by hand, but it has not been professionally polished.
A very beautiful, shimmering, well made vintage Italian 18K rose gold twist link chain necklace. Different, with lots of rich depth of color and eye-catching sparkle in a very au currant design.
