Wonderful, Charming, Highly Detailed, Vintage or Antique Sterling Silver Carved & Cut Out Repousse Horse and Rider Heart-Topped Key Pin or Brooch.

   The brooch measures just over approximately 1 and 1/16 inches wide at the top, by about 1/2 of an inch, or approximately 12.7 millimeters, wide at the bottom. It is approximately 2 and 3/8 inches, or about 60.32 millimeters, high, and just over roughly 1/16 of an inch, or about 2 millimeters, deep, not including the pinback. (Included you'll see a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Old c-clasp pinback. Stamped, "Sterling", on the back, unsigned. 

   This old pin is in quite good vintage condition, for its age. It will have all of the expected light surface scratches and likely a few tiny dings from normal wear. Hand polished, but there is plenty of tarnish remaining in addition to the patina intentionally preserved, as it was completely black to begin. The old school c-clasp pin back works as designed, holds securely, and the pin is still sharp and straight. 

   A delightful, unusual and very special, old Sterling equestrian pin. Wonderful attention to detail and dimensionality. So much nicer in person than the camera could capture.
