The pendant measures approximately 1 and 9/16 inches, or about 39.6875 millimeters, high, bale included, by just over about 7/8 of an inch, or approximately 23 millimeters, wide, and roughly 11/16 of an inch, or 17.4625 millimeters, deep. The bale opening measures just under approximately 1/8 of an inch, or about 3 millimeters, wide. (Included you will see a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Stamped faintly and partially on the back of the bale, "14K", unsigned. Also discreetly acid tested as solid 14K gold. Weight is approximately 8.1 grams, which includes the kukui nut weight, of course.
This pendant is in very nice vintage condition, but will exhibit the expected light surface scratches to the gold from normal wear. No visible damage to the kukui nut. Lightly cleaned by hand, but it has not been professionally seen to.
A very lovely, unusual, and delightful, vintage I4K gold and kukui nut butterfly pendant. A really great old piece. So pretty and uniquely collectible.
