Very Large, Gorgeous, Detailed, Handcrafted Vintage Jerusalem 950 Silver with Gold Vermeil and Vibrantly Colored Azurite Malachite Chrysocolla Pin/Pendant.
The piece measures approximately 1 and 13/16 inches high, by about 1 and 9/16 inches wide, and approximately 3/8 of an inch deep, not including the pinback. The bale opening measures approximately 1/8 of an inch, or about 3.17 millimeters, wide. (Included please find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Standard locking pinback. Stamped, "950 Jerusalem", on the the back, unsigned. Weight is approximately 21.4 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.
This brooch/pendant is in good vintage condition. It will have the expected surface scratches and dings to the silver from age and normal wear. No visible damage to the stone. Hand polished, but it may need further attention, especially to the detail on the face. The pin back works as intended, the tip is sharp, the pin itself has a slight bend in the center. There may be light wear to the vermeil on the sides of the bezel setting.
