Sleek, Unusual, Vintage New Old Stock Sterling Silver Modernist Ring. The central open loop portion is polished, while the band is a contrasting satiny, textured finish.

   The ring is a size 8. The face measures just over approximately 3/16 of an inch, or about 5 millimeters high and about 1/8 of an inch, or approximately 3.17 millimeters, thick. The band narrows to just over roughly 1/16 of an inch, or about 2 millimeters, wide. (Included you'll see a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) It is stamped inside, "925", along with an illegible mark which may be a signature. Weight is approximately 4.6 grams.

     This is new old stock ring, never sold or worn, but vintage in from the 1980's. There may be light surface scratches to the silver from years of storage. Hand polished, but there may still be areas of missed tarnish. There could be slight variations, as the ring shown is an example representing the median weight and condition.
