Beautiful, Detailed, Vintage 14K Solid Yellow Gold Circle Pin or Brooch, with Very Finely Milled Background and Sparkly Edge Design Accenting a Curvy Scrollwork Pattern.
The brooch measures just over approximately 1 inches or about 25.5 millimeters, in diameter, by just over approximately 1/8 of an inch, or about 3.5 millimeters, wide, and roughly 1/16 of an inch, or approximately 1.585 millimeters, thick, not including the pinback. (Included please find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Older style locking c-pinback, stamped on the edge, "14K". Also discreetly acid tested as solid 14K gold. Weight is approximately 2.19 grams.
This brooch is in very good vintage condition. It will have the expected light surface scratches and possibly a few tiny dings to the gold from normal wear. No creases or dents. Lightly cleaned by hand, but it has not been professionally polished. The old school locking c-clasp pin back works fine, and the pin is sharp, but has a mild bend which should not affect wear. There is a very discreet acid test mark on one edge.
A very classy and extremely lovely, finely chased and well crafted vintage 14K eternity circle brooch. Rich luster and wonderful attention to detail.
