Beautiful, Large but Lightweight, Super-Stylish, Signed Vintage Solid 14K Yellow Gold Curved Scalloped Repousse Round Shrimp Shell or Horn Shaped Pierced Earrings.
Each earring face measures approximately 11/16 of an inch, or about 17.4625 millimeters, in outer diameter, by roughly 5/16 of an inch, or about 7.9375 millimeters, deep. (Included is a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The post of each earring is stamped, "14K", and signed, "JJI". The mismatched clutches are stamped, "14KT", and, "14K", respectively. The earrings have also been discreetly acid tested as solid 14K gold. Combined weight is approximately 1.7 grams.
These are vintage earrings, which have been worn and enjoyed. They will likely have the expected light surface scratches and possibly very tiny dings to the gold, though no dings or creases were found. The posts are pretty straight, but not perfectly so. The clutches are mismatched, but both 14K. Lightly cleaned by hand, but they have not been professionally polished.
A classy and rich-looking pair of signed vintage 14K yellow gold earrings. Large in impact, but very comfortable in weight. Just lovely.
