Extremely Cool, Unusual, Chunky Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver and Faceted Trapezoidal Black Onyx Pendant.
The pendant measures just over approximately 1 and 5/8 inches high, including the bale, by just over about 5/8 of an inch wide at the top, about 7/8 of an inch wide at the bottom, and just under roughly 1/2 of an inch deep. The bale opening is about 1/4 of an inch, or approximately 6.35 millimeters, wide. (Included you'll see a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The pendant is stamped, "925 Mexico", on the back, unsigned. Weight is substantial, at approximately 22.7 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.
This pendant is in good vintage condition, but will have all of the expected surface scratches and dings to the silver, from normal wear. No chips or cracks in the stone. This is a handmade item, and will not be machine-perfect in any sense. Hand polished, but there could be more tarnish remaining.
