The pendant measures just over approximately 1 and 1/2 inches, or about 38.5 millimeters, high, including the bale, by about 15/16 of an inch, or approximately 23.8125 millimeters, wide, and roughly 7/16 of an inch, or about 11.1125 millimeters, thick. (Included is a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The bale opening measures just under approximately 3/16 of an inch, or about 4.5 millimeters, wide. The pendant may be stamped, "925", on the inside of the bale, but it's not legible, so it was discreetly acid tested, unsigned. Weight is approximately 9.12 grams, which includes the amber weight, of course.
This pendant is in very good vintage condition, but will exhibit the expected light surface scratches and tiny dings to the silver from normal wear. No damage to the amber, just light scratches and a few natural surface irregularities. Hand polished, but may have missed tarnish, especially within the small dot details on the bale and inside it. There is a small acid test mark on the back. This is a handmade item which will not be perfectly square, symmetrical, nor machine-perfect in any other sense.
A very pretty, bold and eye-catching, handmade Sterling silver and amber pendant. The amber is full of interest and set high to catch the light from all angles. Charming piece.
