Gorgeous, Scintillating and Sparkly, Signed Vintage Italian Solid White Gold Singapore Twist Link Chain Necklace. This chain is much lovelier in person than in the photographs. The camera did not do it justice.
The necklace measures approximately 24 inches long, from end to end, and will fit at about 23 and 7/8 inches in length (closed). The chain measures just under about 1/8 of an inch, or approximately 3 millimeters, wide. (Included please find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The necklace is stamped, "14KT", and, "Italy", on the end caps, along with a maker's mark and the maker's signature, "SMC". Stamped, "585", again on the spring ring clasp. Also discreetly acid tested and confirmed to be solid 14K gold. Weight is approximately 5.12 grams.
This necklace is in excellent vintage condition, but will likely have the expected light surface scratches from normal wear. No kinks or bends. The spring ring clasp is in good working condition, a tiny bit tight to fasten, and holds securely. Lightly cleaned by hand, but it has not been professionally polished. Please try to overlook the dark and/or blotchy reflections of the black camera lens in the photos.
A very beautiful, striking but understated, vintage Italian 14K gold Singapore twist necklace. Eye-catching shimmer, in a great length and versatile, classy, style.
