     Lovely, Classic, Nicely Crafted and Signed Vintage Italian Sterling Silver Herringbone Chain Necklace.

    The necklace measures about 20 and 1/8 inches long, from end to end, and will fit at approximately 20 inches in length (closed). The chain measures approximately 1/8 of an inch, or about 3.17 millimeters, wide. (Included you will find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The necklace is stamped, "925 Italy", and signed with a, "D inside a circle" maker's mark, on both end caps. Stamped, "925", again on the lobster claw clasp. Weight is approximately 5.8 grams.

   This necklace is in very good vintage condition, but may have the expected light surface scratches and normal wear. It has no kinks or bends. The clasp is in good working condition, and holds securely. Hand polished, but there may be more tarnish remaining. 

   A very nice signed vintage Italian Sterling silver necklace. Richly shimmery, a touch of class for any ensemble.
