The chain measures just over about 116 and 1/2 inches long, from end to end, and should fit at about 16 and 1/2 inches in length, closed. It is approximately 1.5 millimeters, or just under about 1/16 of an inch, wide. Stamped on the spring ring clasp, "14K", marked, "14K", and, "Plumb", on an inline lozenge, and signed with a stylized, "Ca" in a circle maker's mark.
The pendant measures approximately 1/2 inch, or about 12.7 millimeters high, bale included, by just over about 1/4 of an inch, or approximately 6.5 millimeters, wide, and roughly 3/16 of an inch, or about 4.7625 millimeters, deep. The stones has a conservative estimated carat weight of .46 carats. (Included you will find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The bale opening measures just over approximately 1/16 of an inch, or about 2 millimeters wide. Stamped on the back, "14K", unsigned.
Combined weight is approximately 1.28 grams, which includes the gem weight, of course.
This necklace is in very nice vintage condition, but will likely exhibit the expected light surface scratches to the gold from normal wear. The chain has no kinks or bends, and the spring ring clasp works well and holds securely. No visible chips and only the tiniest amount of surface wear to the stone. Lightly cleaned by hand, but it has not been professionally polished.
