Gorgeous, Detailed, Nicely Crafted and Signed Vintage Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Curvy Repousse Butterfly Pin or Brooch, in the Rare Larger Size.

   The brooch measures approximately 2 and 9/16 inches, or about 65.0875 millimeters, wide, by approximately 1 and 9/16 inches, or about 39.6875 millimeters, high, and just over roughly 5/16 of an inch, or about 8  millimeters, deep, not including the pinback. (Included please find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Standard locking pinback. Stamped on the back, "925 Mexico", and signed, "Tiffany & Co". Weight is approximately 18.16 grams.

  This brooch is in very good vintage condition. It will have the expected surface scratches and tiny dings to the silver from normal wear. I saw no dents, creases, or large dings. Hand polished extensively, but it may need further attention if you wish to remove every trace of tarnish. The locking pin back works as designed, and the pin is sharp but has a gentle bend in the center.

   A very beautiful, highly collectible, large vintage Tiffany Sterling silver butterfly brooch. Fabulous dimensionality and a strong profile, while feminine and graceful in style. So much lovelier in person than the camera captured.
