Large, Lovely, Detailed, Signed Vintage Boma Sterling Silver and Cabochon Black Onyx Dimensional Openwork Celtic Knot Brooch.

   The brooch measures approximately 1 and 5/16 inches high, by just over about 1 and 1/4 inches wide, and just over roughly 3/8 of an inch, or approximately 9.5 millimeters, thick, not including the pinback. The stone setting measures just under approximately 3/8 of an inch, or about 9.5 millimeters, in diameter. (Included is a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Standard locking pinback. Stamped, "925", and signed, "Boma", on the back. Weight is approximately 7.96 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.

  This brooch is in very nice (newer) vintage condition. It will likely have the expected light surface scratches and there could be a few tiny dings to the silver from normal wear. No visible damage to the stone, no bends or dents to the silver. Hand polished, but it may need further attention, especially to the crevices and around the rim of the setting. The locking pin back works as intended, and the pin is straight and remains sharp.
