Fabulous, Bold and Beautiful, Handcrafted Vintage Sterling Silver Dimensional Modernist Half Dome Sphere and Double Swoop Design Twin-Band Ring.
The ring is approximately a size 8 and 1/2. The face of the ring measures just over approximately 3/4 of an inch, or about 19.5 millimeters, high and projects just over about 1/4 of an inch, or approximately 6.5 millimeters, from the finger. The band(s) measure approximately 1/8 of an inch, or about 3.17 millimeters, wide, at their narrowest point in back. (Included you will see a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) This ring is partially stamped, "925", on the inside edge on one band, and may be signed beneath, but illegibly. (Attempts to photograph the marking met with little success.) Also acid tested as solid Sterling silver. Weight is approximately 5.56 grams.
This is a vintage piece, which has been worn and enjoyed. There will be the expected surface scratches and dings in the silver from normal wear. The thick ring band remains round. Hand polished, but there are likely areas of missed tarnish, especially in the crevices and interior, which will come off with some more polishing, if you choose to do so.
A fantastic vintage artisan Sterling silver modern design ring. Large and eye-catching, with a feminine, curvy, delicacy of styling. Much nicer in person than the camera could capture.
