Wonderful, Adorably Detailed, Handcrafted Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Dog Pin or Brooch with Applied Golden Brass Heart and Dangling Bone Charm.

   From the top of the head to the bottom of the bone, the piece measures approximately 2 inches, or about 50.8 millimeters, high, by just over approximately 7/8 of an inch, or about 23 millimeters, wide, and just under roughly 1/16 of an inch, or about 1.5 millimeters, thick, not including the pinback. (Included you'll see a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Standard locking pinback. Stamped "Mexico", and, "925", on the back of the foot and either unsigned or the signature ran off the edge. Weight is approximately 7.97 grams.

   This brooch is in very nice vintage condition, though  it will have the expected light surface scratches and possibly a few tiny dings to the silver from age and normal wear. No bends or creases found  nor anything notable.The locking pin back closes securely, and the pin is straight and sharp. This is a handcrafted piece which will not be machine-perfect in any way.
