The pendant measures approximately 1 and 13/16 inches high, including the bale. The disc measures just over about 1 and 9/16 inches in dimeter. The pendant is just under roughly 3/8 of an inch, or 9.5 millimeters, deep. (Included you'll find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The bale opening measures just under approximately 1/8 of an inch, or about 3 millimeters, wide. The pendant is stamped, "925", on the back of the bale, and signed, "JBB". Weight is approximately 13.93 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.
This pendant is in excellent vintage condition, but will exhibit the expected light surface scratches and possibly a few tiny dings to the silver from normal wear. No visible damage to the stone, just a couple of tiny natural inclusions. Hand polished, but may have some missed some tarnish in addition to the patina deliberately avoided.
A very beautiful, boldly sized, but feminine and stylish, signed vintage Sterling silver and red jasper leaf-topped circle pendant. Nicely crafted, substantial and heavy, with great attention to detail. Naturally lovely color and contrast in this piece.
