Beautiful, Unusual, Vintage Handcrafted and Signed Mexican Sterling Silver and Cabochon Green Aventurine Open Diamond-Shaped Pendant. The bale is set so that the pendant hangs at an angle.

The piece, as it will hang at an angle, measures approximately 1 and 11/16 inches high, including the bale, by about 3/4 of an inch wide, and just under approximately 1/4 of an inch deep. The bale opening is roughly 1/8 of an inch, or about 3.17 millimeters, wide. (Included you'll see a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Stamped on the bale, "925", along with the Eagle 200 mark, circa 1955-1970's, and is signed with what appears to be, "IES". This eagle number was assigned to Carsi, but the initials clearly do not match.
Weight is approximately 4.8 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.

This pendant is in nice vintage condition. It will have the expected surface scratches and possibly tiny dings to the silver from age and normal wear. No chips or cracks in the stone, just a bit of surface wear, visible under a 10X loupe. Hand polished, but it may need further attention, especially in the crevices, as it was very tarnished to start. This is a handcrafted piece, and is not machine-perfect in any way.

A very lovely signed vintage Mexican Sterling silver and green aventurine modernist pendant. Very different, with beautiful color and movement. Much prettier in person.
