The ring is approximately a size 7, but may fit just slightly smaller to the width. The face of the ring measures just over approximately 1 and 7/8 inches, or about 48 millimeters, high, and projects just over roughly 1/8 of an inch, or about 3.5 millimeters, from the top of the finger. The band narrows in back to about 5/16 of an inch, or approximately 7.9375 millimeters, wide. (Included please find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Stamped, "925", and , "Israel", inside and signed, "RL". Weight is approximately 4.51 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.
This is a vintage piece, which has been worn and enjoyed. There will be the expected light surface scratches and possibly a few tiny dings in the silver from normal wear. This is a handcrafted ring, which will not be perfectly symmetrical nor machine-perfect in any other sense. The band is still round and true. There is no damage to the stones. Hand polished, but there will likely still be areas of missed tarnish, in addition to the fabulous patina intentionally preserved.
A striking and gloriously modern vintage Israeli artisan signed Sterling silver and black onyx ring. Fabulous attention to detail all around. Chunky but delicately crafted, with truly fierce styling. This standout ring will be noticed and admired.
