The camera gave a sickly, golden-brown cast to the patina within the details, which is not nearly as noticeable to the eye, and what does appear is closer to black in tone. This pendant is much prettier in person.
The piece measures approximately 1 and 11/16 inches high, including the bale, by just over about 1 and 5/16 inches wide, and approximately 1/8 of an inch, or about 3.17 millimeters, thick. The bale opening is just under roughly 1/4 of an inch, or about 6 millimeters, wide. (Included is a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Stamped on the upper interior of the bale, "925", "Thailand", and signed, "SX". Weight approximately 5.68 grams.
This pendant is in very nice (newer) vintage condition, though it will have some of the expected light surface scratches and possibly a few tiny dings to the silver from normal wear. Hand polished, but it may need further attention if you wish to remove all of the patina. Please try to overlook the dark and/or blotchy areas in the photos which are merely reflections of the black camera lens and tripod and the golden tint the camera has given to the tarnish left behind, which appears more black in hue to the eye.
A beautiful and bold but feminine and curvy, vintage Sterling silver and heart pendant. Great design full of Southwest details and dimension. Much nicer in person than the camera could capture.
