Large, Beautiful, Vintage 14K Solid Yellow Gold and Fancy Bezel Set Oval Cabochon Malachite Pierced Earrings.
Each earring face measures just over approximately 3/4 of an inch, or about 19.5 millimeters, high, by about 9/16 of an inch, or approximately 14.2875 millimeters, wide, and just under roughly 1/4 of an inch deep. (Included please find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The back of each earring clutch stamped, "14KT", unsigned. Also discreetly acid tested as solid 14K gold. Combined weight is approximately 7.8 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.
These are vintage earrings, which have been worn and enjoyed. They will have the expected light surface scratches and possibly tiny dings to the gold. No chips or cracks to the stones. The posts are pretty straight, but one is slightly less so. The clutches hold very securely. Lightly cleaned by hand, but they have not been professionally polished, and could possibly use more attention in order to really shine.
A very classy, unusual and lovely pair of vintage 14K gold and malachite earrings. Beautiful, with lovely color, and gorgeous detail in the gold bezels. The camera does not do them justice.
