Beautiful, Large, Signed Vintage Solid 14K Yellow Gold Hinged Hoop Pierced Earrings with Floating Ball Slider Accents.
The hoop portion of each earring measures just under approximately 1 inch, or about 25 millimeters, in diameter bu just over about 1/16 of an inch, or approximately 2 millimeters, wide. With the ball, each earring measures just over 1 and 1/16 inches, or about 27 millimeters, high. The balls are each just over about 5/16 of an inch, or approximately 8 millimeters, in diameter. (Included please find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Stamped on both post arms, "14K", and signed with either a, "Co" or, "Ca", maker's mark. Also very discreetly acid tested as solid 14K gold. Combined weight is approximately 1.73 grams.
These are vintage earrings, which have been worn and enjoyed. They may have the expected light surface scratches from normal wear. No visible dings, dents or creases. The post arms are both straight. The catches might be just slightly loose, but they do stay closed and can be gently squeezed tighter, if need be. The end cap of one hoop appears to have been incompletely soldered, but this seems to have no affect on wearability or stability. There is a very discreet acid test mark on one earring. Lightly cleaned by hand, but they have not been professionally polished.
