For your consideration, these Beautiful, Curvy, Handcrafted Vintage Sterling Silver and Vivid Abalone Screwback Dangle Earrings, with Rope and Caviar Dot Detailing. These definitely appear Mexican in origin, but are not marked as such. Please forgive the awkward fall of the earrings on the display. They will clearly dangle more much appealingly from the ear.

   Each earring face measures just under approximately 1 and 5/8 inches high, by just under about 1/2 of an inch, or approximately 12.5 millimeters, wide at the widest points, and just over roughly 1/4 of an inch, or about 6 millimeters, deep. (Included you'll find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The inner screwback of each earring is stamped, "Sterling . 925", unsigned. Combined weight is approximately 7 grams, which includes the shell weight, of course.

   These are vintage earrings, which have been worn and enjoyed. They will have the expected surface scratches and tiny dings to the silver. No visible chips or cracks in the abalone, just natural surface irregularities. The screwbacks move freely and close and hold securely. Both appear pretty straight, but may need gentle reshaping. Hand polished, while attempting to preserve the desirable patina, so there is tarnish remaining in the crevices. These are handmade and will not be machine-perfect in any way.

   A very striking pair of vintage Sterling silver and abalone non pierced earrings. Amazing play of color in the abalone, wonderful hand applied details, all in a very nice size with a great sense of movement. True beauties.
