The necklace measures about 16 and 1/16 inches long, from end to end, and will fit (closed) at about 16 and 1/2 inches in length. The chain is approximately 2 millimeters, or just over about 1/16 of an inch, wide. Stamped, "925", on the spring ring clasp, stamped, "925 Mex", and signed, "MD28V DV", and marked with a conjoined, "OO", on an inline lozenge. Weight is approximately 2.6 grams.
This necklace is in very good vintage condition, but will likely have the expected light surface scratches from normal wear. The chain has no kinks or bends, and the clasp works well and holds securely. Hand polished, but may have missed some tarnish.
A very pretty, unusual vintage signed Mexican Sterling silver open heart necklace. Nicely handcrafted, very feminine. This style of necklace is so nice, as the clasp never works its way around to the front.
