Large, Gorgeous, Beautifully Detailed, Signed Vintage Danecraft Curvy Southwest Style Scrollwork Sterling Silver and Faux Blue Turquoise Pin/Pendant. The "turquoise" appears to be made of glass and is a very lovely rendition.
The piece measures just over approximately 1 and 3/4 inches high, by just over about 1 and 9/16 inches wide, and roughly 7/16 of an inch, or aboout 11.1125 millimeters, deep, not including the pinback and bale. The bale is a shepherd's hook style with the area where the chain will rest measuring just under approximately 1/4 of an inch, or about 6 millimeters, wide. This can be gently adjusted, of course. (Included is a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) Standard locking pinback. Stamped, "Sterling", on a plaque lozenge the the back, and signed, "Danecraft". Weight is approximately 15.68 grams, which includes the faux turquoise weight, of course.
This pin/pendant is in very good vintage condition. It will have the expected surface scratches and tiny dings to the silver from normal wear. No damage to the faux turquoise. I have polished this, but it may need further attention if you wish to remove all traces of the patina. The locking pin back works as intended, the tip is sharp, the pin itself has a slight bend in the center. The bale is a shepherds hook style which appears to be in its original shape.
