Beautiful, Large, Handcrafted and Signed Vintage Mexican Repousse Sterling Silver Modernist Puffy Heart Clip-On Earrings. Each earring face measures approximately 1 inch or about 25.4 millimeters, high, by about 15/16 of an inch, or about 23.8 millimeters, wide, and just over roughly 1/8 of an inch, or about 3.5 millimeters, deep. (Included find a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The back of each earring is stamped, "925 Hecho en Mexico", and signed, NM-34, I believe, though the first letters are faint and hard to make out. Combined weight is approximately 11.8 grams.
These are older earrings, which have been worn and enjoyed. They will have the expected light surface scratches to the silver. No dings or dents, though there is a shallow impression on the back of one earring, where the clip touches. The clips move easily and close and hold securely, without being overly tight or loose, very comfortable. Hand polished, but there may be further tarnish to remove, on the backs, near the clip attachments.
